Alpe di Siusi is Europe's largest high-altitude meadow. With undulating green pastures, historic wooden hay chalets, and the rugged towers of Sassolungo and Sciliar on the horizon, it is serene and poetic.
Unlike the knife-edge rock ledges of Tre Cime, Alpe di Siusi offers soft rolling meadows that are gentle on wedding dresses and exceptionally comfortable for guests.
In early summer, fields explode into sea of yellow buttercups and purple orchids. In autumn, the grass turns rich amber under crisp cobalt skies.
We collaborate with exclusive mountain chalets like Adler Lodge Alpe and Sanon Hütte for private celebrations and gourmet alpine champagne toasts. Alpe di Siusi is one of our favourite settings for vow renewal and anniversary sessions, and pairs well with a visit to Seceda for contrasting terrain on the same trip, or with a longer stay based around Corvara and Alta Badia.
Planning notes
- Vehicles are prohibited on the pasture road between 09:00 and 17:00 unless you stay at a hotel on the plateau. We manage permit exceptions for our couples.
- Horse-drawn carriages are available for unforgettable arrival shots across the alpine meadows.
- Ideal location if you are traveling with family or elderly guests who desire breathtaking vistas without strenuous hiking.
