This notice explains how www.dolomitesweddingphotographer.com uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies that store or read information on your device. It forms part of the Privacy policy and follows the Italian Data Protection Authority's Cookie Guidelines of 10 June 2021 and the underlying ePrivacy rules.
1. What they are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored in your browser. This site also uses browser local storage for the same purpose. This policy covers both, and any similar technique that accesses or stores information on your device.
2. Default settings
On your first visit, only strictly necessary tools are active. Analytics is off by default and only loads after you actively consent — the banner offers "Accept all," "Reject optional" and a granular "Customize" choice, all equally accessible with equal visual weight. No marketing or profiling tool is currently installed on this site.
3. Necessary cookies
These enable security, navigation, session handling and remembering your privacy choice. They don't require consent because they're strictly necessary, but are listed here for transparency: a browser local-storage entry named lwm_consent_v1 stores the policy version you last saw, which categories you chose, and the date. It has no expiry date of its own — it persists until you clear your browser's site data or withdraw consent via "Privacy settings," at which point it's overwritten with your new choice.
4. Analytics
If enabled for this site, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and navigation paths in aggregate. It only loads after you consent to the "Analytics" category in the banner — the script isn't present on the page at all before that — and every request is sent with IP anonymisation switched on. If you withdraw consent afterwards, GA4 stops loading on your next page view. Retention of the underlying analytics data follows Google's own configuration for this property.
5. Marketing and profiling
No marketing or profiling tool is installed on this site at present. If one is added in future, it will only load after specific consent to the "Marketing" category, and this section will be updated to name the tool, its purpose, its duration and any international transfer it involves — which, per section 12 of the Privacy policy, would also trigger an email to CRM contacts whose consent predates that change.

7. Managing, withdrawing and proving consent
Choose "Accept all," "Reject optional" or "Customize" on first visit. Optional categories start unselected. Your choice is stored with a version number and timestamp, which is how we can show that consent was actually given. Open "Privacy settings" in the footer at any time to review or change your choice — from that moment, any script for a category you've turned off stops loading on your next page view.
8. Third parties and embedded content
Where the site embeds third-party content (such as a map or a video), that provider may set its own cookies only once you interact with the embed and only after consent, except where strictly necessary for the embed to function. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see the Privacy policy.
